Dholera Special Investment Region (Dholera SIR) is India's first planned Greenfield Smart City and one of the country's most ambitious infrastructure-led development initiatives. Located approximately 100 km south of Ahmedabad, Dholera is being developed under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) with the vision of creating a globally competitive industrial, commercial, and residential ecosystem.
Spread across 920 square kilometres, Dholera SIR is larger than Ahmedabad city and is strategically positioned between Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, and Bhavnagar. It has been notified as a National Investment and Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ) and is being developed with world-class infrastructure to support industries, businesses, and urban living.
Designed to accommodate a population of approximately 20 lakh and generate over 8 lakh employment opportunities, Dholera is expected to play a significant role in India's long-term economic and industrial growth.
